As cancer patients feel isolated upon embarking their journey towards treatment, Friends of Cancer Patients has launched Birthday for a Cause program through which people from all around the world pledge their birthday and donate their birthday present to a cancer patient. Birthday for a Cause aims at cheering cancer patients and sharing the birthday joy with them to minimize the psychological impact of their treatment.
