In line with its mission to provide moral support and comprehensive care to children with cancer throughout their treatment journey, Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP) arranged a visit to the Mediclinic Hospital in Dubai. The visit aimed to uplift affected children’s morale and provide support to their families, recognising the significant impact that positive interactions can play in psychological well-being and treatment progress.

Facilities, Benefits, and Inclusion Along with the Joy of Eid
In a collaborative effort with Dubai Police ‘Esaad,’ the FoCP team visited the children at Mediclinic Hospital and presented them with Al-Meer cards and Esaad memberships. These cards and memberships grant the children access to a diverse range of benefits, services, and facilities. The visit was attended by esteemed individuals, including Aisha Al Mulla, Director of FoCP, Mona Al Amiri, Director of Esaad Card Center, and Colonel Masoud Al Hammad, Deputy Director of the Esaad Card Center.

By providing Al-Meer cards and Esaad memberships to the children, FoCP and Dubai Police’s ‘Esaad’ aim to create an inclusive environment and enhance the overall experience of the young patients during their treatment journey.

A Noble Cause Unites Individuals and Institutions
Aisha Al Mulla, Director of FoCP, stated, “Our initiative aims to foster public engagement with cancer, raising community awareness about the challenges faced by patients, and in this occasion children. We aspire to inspire support and solidarity throughout their treatment journey. We also seek to motivate donations and volunteering, recognising that cancer and other diseases demand a collective response, as they impact our entire society.”
