Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP) in collaboration with the Department of Health Education and the Department of Suburbs and Villages Council, presented an educational session on the importance of early detection screening of breast cancer at Mughaidir Suburb Council.
The session was held as part of the “Our Suburbs are Healthy” campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of preventive healthcare in the community.
The session was led by a team of FOCPA experts, who provided information on the symptoms, causes, and prevention of breast cancer. They also demonstrated how to perform self-examinations, which is an important way to detect breast cancer early.
The session was well-attended by women from the community, who were grateful for the opportunity to learn more about breast cancer and how to protect themselves.
